What’s with the United Nation’s? The United Nation’s spent decades ignoring the oppression of the Libyan people. The United Nation’s jubilantly welcomed the dictator Muammar Gaddafi to speak at the UN General Assembly in 2009. Hell, Ban Ki-moon, the UN Secretary General, fawned all over Gaddafi. The UN backed the wrong horse.

Then, protests break out in Libya and the revolution starts, and the UN is more concerned with what happens to Muammar Gaddafi than what happens to Libyans. They want an inquiry into Gaddafi’s death. WTF?

Obviously, he was executed by the Libyan people. And this is a problem exactly how? The world would be a much better place if its leaders are actually held accountable for their actions.

Eric Holder Wags The Dog

Embattled Attorney General Eric Holder, who has been catching hell for providing guns to Mexican drug cartels that were ultimately used in murdering U.S. law enforcement officials (code name Operation Fast and Furious), got a bit of a reprieve today. He wagged the dog.

Holder gave a press conference alleging that Iran tried to execute a major terrorist plot in Washington, D.C. and kill the Saudi Arabian Ambassador Adel al-Jubeir. The mastermind of the supposed plot is a used car salesman of Iranian decent (Mansour J. Arbabsiar) who traveled to Mexico to hire a Mexican drug trafficker from the Los Zetas cartel to kill the Ambassador (yes, those would be the same drug traffickers that Eric Holder helped sell arms to). If it sounds surreal and like a movie plot, well, that’s because it probably is. I highly doubt this plot is real - just like George Bush and the supposed weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in Iraq.

I really pity Eric Holder. He’s just making shit up to deflect attention from his failed Operation Fast and Furious. If only Barack Obama were a real leader, Eric Holder would be gone.

There are times I’m scared to death of our Government. And there’s times I’m embarrassed to be an American. On learning about Barack Obama’s “Operation Fast and Furious” – I’m both. Basically, who needs Islamic terrorists when you have Eric Holder as your Attorney General?

Let me explain.

As the drug violence in Mexico has heated up, the Obama Administration continued the Bush Administration’s policy of tracking illegal gun sales. Unfortunately, the Obama Administration seems to be even more incompetence than the Bush Administration (there’s a shocker). Team Obama has allowed thousands of guns to be sold illegally – and then lost track of the guns.

Well, those guns have started turning up – at murder scenes. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was murdered by one of the guns from Operation Fast and Furious. Police officers have a dangerous enough job that they don’t have to deal with the U.S. Government providing arms to the criminals.

Attorney General Eric Holder oversees the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) – the same folks who brought us the mass murder of children in Waco, Texas. Eric Holder is “restructuring” the ATF in the hope that people will forget that he’s an accessory to murder.

So, who needs Islamic terrorists when you have Eric Holder as your Attorney General?

This would be a perfect time for President Barack Obama to exercise some leadership and fire Eric Holder. ASAP. But of course, leadership isn’t exactly a strength of President Obama.

There’s a little guy running around the sidelines – a cross between a mascot and a little pet. It’s terrific. In Defense of Cultural Imperialism

Egyptian antiquities head Zahi Hawass has been leading the charge for the return of artifacts to Egypt. Hawass believes that antiquities from Egypt belong in Egypt. Zahi Hawass claims that Egypt can take care of these precious antiquities – artifacts that are as much human history as they are Egyptian history.

However, the recent protests in Egypt call this into question. Under Zahi Hawass’ leadership, his department has managed to lose 18 precious artifacts from the highly-secure Egyptian Museum. How can the world return Egyptian artifacts to Egypt only to see them looted...or even worse, vandalized and destroyed? While I applaud Hawass for publicly admitting the extent of his department’s incompetence in protecting these precious treasures, Hawass has yet to provide a full accounting of the damage to historical sites – not just the Egyptian Museum.

Egypt has proven that it cannot care for these precious antiquities. While cultural imperialism is not ideal, in the context of Egypt, it is preferred. Egypt cannot be trusted to care for and protect these artifacts of great human importance.

Congress Repeals Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell

Thank god for it! The Democrats and Republicans in Congress have passed legislations to repeal the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. So, while President Barack Obama has filed numerous lawsuits in Federal Court to ensure that Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell remained in effect, Congress passed the bill in bipartisan manner.

I fully expect that President Obama will sign the law repealing Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. But history will show, this victory for equality was achieved in spite of President Barack Hussein Obama, not because of him.

Obama Gives Billions to Black Farmers

On Wednesday, President Obama is going to sign a $4.6 billion handout to African American and Native American farmers. Supposedly, the massive payments will go to settle generations-old claims of racism and other such charges brought by the National Black Farmers Association. At the root, some black farmers claim they were denied federal loans and handouts.

It is worth noting that tens of thousands of white farmers were also denied the exact same federal loans, yet they don’t get billions in handouts from President Barack Obama.

Silencing Consumers

This is really disturbing – the review site TripAdvisor has given consumers the opportunity to provide real advice and reviews of hotel properties. I have personally have made over 425 contributions to TripAdvisor (including over 150 reviews, 200 photos and several videos). I’ve had some reviews rejected as being too positive (such as a recent review of The American Hotel in Sharon Springs, New York) and I’ve had reviews rejected for being too negative (such as a review of a restaurant in Peru where I got sick). Overall, I think Trip Advisor does a good job of ensuring reviews are accurate.

You do see some fake reviews, but you can sort that out by only believing recommendations from travelers that have a minimum of say 25 reviews. Hotel and restaurant owners have the opportunity to respond. The Homewood Suites East in Harrisburg, PA does a very good job of that – they respond to every review – good, bad or otherwise (probably a reflection of how conscientious the management is there, something I noticed during my stay).

Yet now, a British company (the same folks who brought you the BP Deepwater Horizon) are trying to shut down TripAdvisor and silence consumers. The company is called KwikChex. Their logic is that, if customers don’t have a voice, their clients get to make more money. It’s a “screw consumers at all costs” approach. So far, the company has signed up over 700 hoteliers. I think KwikChex should publish its client list - that way, we know what properties to boycott. They obviously have something to hide, otherwise they wouldn’t be doing this. As a legal strategy, I think TripAdvisor should publish the list of every property that engages in this lawsuit.

We saw this same trend in the medical industry. A group of doctors (some of whom had been sanctioned by state medical boards for causing unnecessary patient deaths) teamed up with a slick lawyer and created a firm in the U.S. called Medical Justice. The organization not only tries to silence consumers voices, but has also worked to ensure the disciplinary proceedings from State Medical Boards remained sealed so consumers don’t know if their doctor has been sanctioned.

My feeling has been for one of transparency. And good business owners know this. If you offer a good service, provide good customer service and deliver good value, you don’t need to sue your customers or issue gag orders. Companies like Medical Justice and KwikChex are nothing but shields for individuals (physicians) and companies (hotels) that are out screwing customers – nothing more, nothing less.

NPR Axes Juan Williams

This is fascinating. The liberal NPR fired Juan Williams for saying what the majority of Americans are thinking – ‘when I get on the plane with Muslims in traditional dress, we get nervous.’ And so NPR axed Williams.

It would seem the real reason why Williams is gone is that he believed journalism should include both the viewpoint of the majority and the minority. As NPRs coverage has gotten more and more one-sided and extremist, Williams has become the odd man out. NPR, which criticized then President Bush for wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, has managed to give a complete pass to President Obama’s wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and now Pakistan. NPR, which was once supportive of gay rights and equality in America, seems to be completely ignoring the fact that our black President is now the biggest barrier to civil rights in this country. NPR, which long defended journalistic fraud Jayson Blair, now fires Juan Williams simply because he has an opinion.

If NPR wants to fire Juan Williams for being an obnoxious, right-wing asshole, fine. But don’t do it under some pretense of journalistic integrity. NPR’s willingness to play politics has been every bit as egregious in terms of journalistic integrity as Fox News.

Allyson Schwartz and the Destruction of Jobs

This is a really hot political year and I’ve been getting tons of mailers imploring me to vote for this or that candidate. Today’s mailer came from my Democratic Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz reminding me that she was one of the chief architects of the healthcare reform legislation. She also wanted to remind me of her efforts in creating jobs and helping the economy (although it is unclear exactly what those efforts were).

Unfortunately, Allyson Schwartz has done more to destroy jobs than create them. Here’s how... By her own admission, Allyson Schwartz was one of the sponsors of the healthcare reform legislation. And it is exactly this legislation that is destroying jobs. At companies across Allyson Schwartz’s district, employees have been getting pink slips – thanks to this legislation...and to her. Oh sure, Ms. Schwartz would disagree. So let’s look at the facts that not even she can dispute:

There are numerous new taxes in the healthcare reform bill. Here are few of them that are hitting companies in Allyson Schwartz’s district—

Annual excise tax on pharmaceuticals – Pharmaceutical companies will be subject to an ANNUAL excise tax of up to $4.2 billion (Section 1404) – it’s a sliding scale based on year. The tax is based on market share and is not tax deductible for federal tax purposes. Large pharmaceutical companies in the area such as Johnson & Johnson (J&J), Merck and Pfizer will all be hit for several hundred million each. The tax begins in 2011. It’s no wonder that companies like Merck and J&J are laying off employees in Allyson Schwartz’s district by the bus loads (although, in fairness to Ms. Schwartz, J&J’s issues run a bit deeper than this alone).

Tax of medical device manufacturers – the healthcare reform bill includes a tax of 2.9 of sales on medical device companies (Section 1405). Companies would be able to absorb a small tax of maybe 0.1% or 0.2% without passing the costs along to consumers or cutting jobs. However, a tax of nearly 3% is causing manufacturers to cut jobs. Within Ms. Schwartz’s congressional district companies like Draeger are laying off workers to prepare for when the tax takes effect.

Note: Companies like Johnson & Johnson (J&J) will be subject to BOTH the medical device tax AND the pharmaceutical tax.

And finally, it is also worth noting that Ms. Allyson Schwartz crafted this legislation, she also included a 30% increase in the Medicare tax (Section 9015), which will hit small businesses particularly hard.

There are literally hundreds of companies in Allyson Schwartz’s district that are involved in healthcare – from Pharmaceutical companies (J&J, Merck), to Medical device companies (Draeger), to vendor companies (IMS, Digitas, PDI, etc.). All of them have taken a double hit – the legacy of George Bush’s failed economic policies and the current crisis caused by Obamacare (the single largest job destruction bill ever to be passed by Congress). And we can thank Allyson Schwartz for that. And Schwartz is concerned that companies will tell their employees the truth about the need to cut jobs (that it’s due to healthcare reform), so she’s having her staffers (Ms. Hall) run around and terrorize companies.

We could have passed a healthcare reform bill that tackled abuses by health insurance companies, without creating massive government deficits and forcing businesses to lay off workers.

So while nearly 20% of her district is unemployed or significantly underemployed, Allyson keeps touting the virtues of the healthcare reform bill – as if it will become true the more times she says it. In my circle of friends (all of whom live in Allyson Schwartz’s district), nearly half of them are unemployed. I have a friend with a PhD in Chemistry who was laid off from Merck and is now stocking shelves at Genuardi’s for minimum wage.

Allyson Schwartz comes from money and her husband has made a fortune being exactly the kind of doctor that got us into this mess of skyrocketing healthcare costs. She doesn’t give a damn about us little people in her district. So while my partner can’t find a job and I’m working two jobs to put food on the table and pay for our mortgage (which is underwater), she lives the high life. I’m pretty pissed off. And that’s why this lifelong Democrat is voting against Allyson Schwartz in November.

However, I'd look for the Phillies to rally and take Game 2 tomorrow.

Political Junk Mail

I love this time of year. My mailbox is flooded by dozens of political mailers from candidates and issue groups encouraging me to vote certain ways. Some are factual and issue based, but I love the really ugly negative attack ads.

Like most public affairs junkies, I save all the mailers and review them. So far, 70% of the mailers have been from Republican candidates, 5% of the mailers are from Republican interest groups, 20% of the mailers are from Democratic interest groups and just 5% are from Democrat candidates. I was surprised at the volume of Republican mailers – since I’m a registered Democrat. I figured my partner would get most of the mailers since she’s an independent, but it hasn't turned out that way.

Some interesting observations:

None of the Democratic candidates invoke President Obama in their mailers – a strong indication just how much the President’s popularity has fallen.
One of the Democratic issue ads (from a group called PA for Equality) encourages me to vote Democratic because voting for Republicans would be severely detrimental to gay rights. Of course, I wanted to call them back and note that a vote for Barack Obama has been the single most detrimental act to gay rights in the history of the country as Obama has refused to fulfill any campaign promises on the issue and is, in fact, going to court to ensure no advancements in equality are allowed to remain permanent.
All of the Republican mailers focus on the economy and jobs.
Similarly, Democratic mailers focus on jobs, but their mailers continue to try to blame Bush and conveniently ignore the last two years in which they’ve done nothing to help the economy (and have actually done a lot to ensure more Americans continue to lose their jobs – more on that soon).
Not one mailer from either party made references to the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan (the latter being Obama’s contribution to global instability).
I particularly like mailers that offer direct, factual, head-to-head comparisons of candidates or issues. Dee Adcock had a nice head-to-head ad against Allyson Schwartz. I also liked the Dan Onorato ad comparing himself against Tom Corbett.

I can’t wait to see what next week brings to my mailbox.

However, thankfully, the candidates have (so far) not engaged in those obnoxious robocaller calls. However, I’m sure they’ll be starting soon.

Ken Fisher is Mr. One Note

Everyone’s favorite over-hyped money manager, Ken Fisher of Fisher Investments™, is back! And he’s using the same old, tired ad campaign that he’s been using for the last few years.

Ken Fisher (and Fisher Investments) has been promising the same surprising/startling prediction in over-hyped e-mails for years. I first noticed this ad campaign promising his startling new prediction on Feb. 28, 2009 (by that point, he’d been using the campaign for many, many months). Then I got the brand new (same) startling prediction from Ken Fisher again on April 26, 2009. Followed promptly by May 12, 2009. I took my usual overseas trip. But when I came back, Ken Fisher was still Mr. One-Note with the same ad campaign on March 9, 2010. And then I just got it again on October 11, 2010.

I’d like to see a new ad campaign: “An Actual New Prediction By Ken Fisher.” Of course, that would mean Ken Fisher actually has new ideas.

Valerie Jarrett and Hypocrisy on Gay Rights

Tonight’s Human Rights Campaign dinner was...disappointing. Frankly, I guess the Obama Administration thinks we’re stupid. They send Obama’s “special advisor” Valerie Jarrett to talk out of both sides of her mouth.

Of course, Valerie Jarrett is right. It does get better. And America’s LGBT youth can persevere through the tough times and the bullying. LGBT youth deserve better.

But President Barack Obama isn’t leading us there. President Obama is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in court to defend bigoted policies like Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell (DADT) and the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). President Obama has done NOTHING to repeal DOMA. President Obama could end the government’s policy of hate and discrimination in the U.S. military by Executive Order. But he refuses on both counts. Why? Is it that Obama hates gays? There’s not a single LGBT individual in Obama’s Cabinet, his Economic Advisors or his inner circle. Even George Bush did better on gay issues than Barack Obama.

Valerie Jarrett is right. It will get better – in spite of Barack Obama, not because of him. Obama has failed gay America. Period.

An Open Letter to Domino’s J. Patrick Doyle

First, let me state that I respect the transformational efforts that you are trying to undertake at Domino’s Pizza. However, improving the quality of the pizza is only one aspect of transforming the company you now lead.

Let me ask you a question: how long does it take Domino’s Pizza to deliver a 1 pizza 0.7 miles? Answer: 2 hours, after losing the first order. Let me explain. I ordered a pizza and breadsticks using your handy online ordering tool at 7:10pm. When the pizza hadn’t arrived by 8:00pm, I called the store and was told that the online ordering tool isn’t working because their Internet was down. After ordering via phone, my pizza arrived at 9:05pm. And when it arrived, I didn’t even take the picture to upload to your Share Your Picture campaign that I was planning to take – I was over it.

Pizza quality is only one part of the revolution you must undertake at Domino’s Pizza. Frankly, it doesn’t matter how good your pizza is if the rest of your customer service is crap.

Despite having ordered a lot of Domino’s over the last few months, I probably won’t be back for a long, long time. It’s a natural consequence.

I don’t write this in anger – I’m more disappointed than anything else. I bought your marketing hype. I thought Domino’s had changed. I thought things were different. Today showed me they aren’t.

Obama Shuts Down Philadelphia Highways During Rush Hour

I’d like to personally thank President Barack Obama for shutting down two major highways in Philadelphia during the evening rush hour. Naturally, rush hour is the perfect time to shut down major highways! President Obama’s self-centered arrogance and the sheer stupidity of the Secret Service is baffling.

So, my evening commute, which is normally 35 minutes, was over 2 hours and 10 minutes. Thank you President Obama! I'll keep that in mind in November when I head to the polls!

Michelle Obama's Vacation Advice

Michelle Obama is urging Americans to spend their vacations on the oil soaked beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. The beaches are oil soaked because her husband's inactivity, but that's secondary.

What I really want to know is if the Obama's will be spending their vacation on the Gulf. The Obama's have spent hundred's of thousands of taxpayer dollars on vacations in Hawaii and Martha's Vineyard. Maybe Americans would consider going if the saw the Obama's leading by example.

Leading by example - that's a real issue with the Obama's. We want to imagine that President Barack Obama is better than George Bush. He is better - at skipping out on his job and going golfing instead.

So while Americans are supposed to go and soak up BP's oil, Obama soaks up the sun and hits the links.

Like some Jeffrey Lebowski-inspired loser, President Barack Obama has got his priorities established – golfing. Whereas Lebowski was about bowling, Obama is all about golfing. It doesn’t seem like he does much else.

It took Barack Obama only 10 months to play MORE golf than George Bush did in his ENTIRE 8 years in office. Barack Obama is on track to take more vacation in his first two years in office than George Bush did in his entire 8 years in office. One has to wonder, which is the lazier President? George Bush jetting off to the Crawford ranch? Or President Barack Obama living it up at taxpayer expense in Hawaii and Martha’s Vineyard, spending tens of thousands of dollars on luxury accommodations?

Millions of barrels of oil are washing up on America’s Gulf Coast and Barack Obama is focusing on his golf game. Millions of Americans are out of work and struggling to get by, and Barack Obama is flying off to Hawaii and focusing on his golf game. There are massive problems (a stupid law in Arizona, North Korea declaring war on South Korea, a war in Afghanistan, a war in Iraq, a war in Pakistan, the economy in free fall – take your pick) and all Obama can focus on his himself. We elected him President, not emperor.

It seems the only thing Obama can focus on is – Dude, let’s go golfing.

As BP’s mess continues to unfold in the Gulf of Mexico, the company continues to try to solve the engineering problems. And this is BP’s fault. However, the Federal Government continues to fail the Gulf Coast. Nobody deserves more blame than President Barack Obama.

While President Obama continues to fail the Gulf Coast, I keep thinking that even George Bush could have done better. Of course, President Bush’s response to Hurricane Katrina was weak. However, President Obama’s response to the massive environmental catastrophe has been an absolute embarrassment. Even George Bush could have done better.

After 58 days of inaction on the BP oil spill, President Barack Obama finally met with executives from BP today. It took President Obama 58 days to decide that this oil spill is worthy of his attention. 58 days.

Perhaps a competent President would have met with BP within two weeks of the largest environmental disaster in U.S. history. But President Barack Obama is not a competent President. Instead, he decided to wait 58 days. 58 days. Meanwhile the oil is soiling a pristine coastline, soaking birds in black nastiness, and destroying coastal fishing grounds. Had President Obama acted sooner and not blocked actions by the States (such as Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal’s efforts to build sand barriers), perhaps the damage would not have been as severe. Instead, President Obama waited 58 days to meet with BP.

57 Days

It’s taken 57 days for President Barack Obama to finally get serious about the BP oil spill. 57 FUCKING DAYS. 57 Days. ABC Screws Up National Spelling Bee

OK, my wife and I are serious geeks. We love the annual Scripps National Spelling Bee. We used to watch it every year on ESPN. But this year, the finals were on ABC. They had these two idiots doing commentary and they talked over all of the contestants. You couldn’t even hear what was going on with all of their talking. Why in the world would ABC take a classic and totally screw it up?

And then we had to sit through the live promos for Wipeout. Let’s hold up the whole fucking spelling bee so ABC can get their promo in.

And what was with the Erin Andrews bimbo? All these smart kids and ABC couldn’t find a single person with intelligence to interview the kids?

We couldn’t even watch the whole spelling bee and had to turn it off because of their stupid commentators.

Obama flew to the Gulf for another photo op today and the President is canceling his Asia trip to focus on this (and catch up on some golfing). While oil washes up on the shores in the worst environmental disaster in America’s history, President Obama partied with Paul McCarthy and took two vacations. Forgive me for sounding cynical, but people actually said this guy was competent.

President Obama accepted over $3 million dollars in campaign contributions and other payments from BP. If Obama were actually serious about this oil spill, he’d take the $3 million he pocketed from BP and he’d donate it to the clean up efforts in the Gulf of Mexico. Actions speak louder than words.

Obama’s uppity, Harvard-stick-in-ass routine may play well...well...nowhere. On Main Street, Americans are pissed off at BP...and at Obama’s apathy to situation and his unwillingness to bring the full-force of the U.S. government to the cleanup. For a President who has been willing to nationalize the auto industry, banks and bring an unprecedanted level of nannyism to America, he's been unusually quiet. Obama loves to list off the number of vessels engaged in the clean up during his press conferences. problem is, most of those boats are private (not U.S. Government).

Main Street is fuming mad at BOTH BP and Obama. Obama didn't cause this mess, but he hasn't done ANYTHING to clean it up either. It’s time for Obama to fully take his head out of his ass and start acting like the President of the United States of America.

I refuse to believe that we need to hold President Obama to a lesser standard just because he’s black. What does that say about America? I hold the President – every President – to the same standard. Yes, President Obama is giving George Bush a run for his money in the “Worst President of America” contest. But they were/are both President and deserve to be compared equally – for better or worse.

Barack Obama’s response to the BP Gulf Oil Spill makes George Bush’s response to Hurricane Katrina look fast. Obama waits 10 days before doing ANYTHING? And here we are over a month out, Obama’s been just twice (take a guess how many times he’s been golfing in the meantime). If Louisiana didn’t have a Republican Governor, I bet Obama would have been down there more often. If Louisiana didn’t have a Republican Governor, I bet President Obama would have allowed the Coast Guard and FEMA to deploy more boom. Certain ACORN divisions are still in operation with the same cronies. ACORN California has now become the Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment under the leadership of former ACORN inner-circle members Edgar Hilbert and Amy Schur. ACORN New York has become New York Communities for Change. And ACORN Housing is now the Affordable Housing Centers of America, but still under the leadership of Michael Shea. We all remember Mike Shea – the chief defender of ACORN last year when the truth began to come out. You can paint the pig, but it’s still a pig. No matter what these corrupt organizations call themselves they are still the same criminal groups they have always been.

ACORN’s woes began long before the scandal broke last year. ACORN spent years committing election fraud including submitting thousands of fraudulent voter registration forms, including fake names (including cartoon characters and dead celebrities), non-eligible voters, non-U.S. citizens and convicted felons – all ACORN’s core constituency. So while ACORN is folding, the people and groups that have committed these crimes are still in place, just with different names: Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment, New York Communities for Change and Affordable Housing Centers of America.

I’d been getting the spam e-mails for months by the time I blogged about it on February 28, 2009 in Fisher Investments. And then I blogged about it again on April 26, 2009 in Ken Fisher Strikes Again. Then I got bored with Ken Fisher, despite still getting his junk mail. And then I got it again yesterday.

Maybe Ken Fisher is a total genius at investing (but I doubt it). But he’s a total idiot at marketing. Using the same advertising campaign for over a year is not a good idea. Especially when that advertising claims that Ken Fisher offers a “new” and “startling prediction.” Here’s a news flash to the morons at Fisher Investments – it’s not new or startling if you keep harping on it for over a year.

Today, President Obama’s administration gave a $1.25 billion handout to black farmers. This is political pork run amuk. OK, I get that Obama needs to appeal to his race and his demographic, especially with the Democratic party sinking like a stone across the country, but with the country trillions of dollars in debt (and the day after he launches a fiscal responsibility initiative), couldn’t we have just a little fiscal responsibility? Naturally, the National Black Farmers Association cheered their huge pork handout.

If a white President gave a handout to only white farmers, there would be hell to pay. But it’s February. It’s Black History Month. So we need to give special handouts and subsidies to black farmers to help them compete.

Frankly, I don't believe that the color of one's skin makes them any better or worse at farming. So, I don't know why we're saying that black farmers are worse than white farmers, and therefore need special subsidies and handouts.

I just want to know when it will end? First handouts to black farmers. Will Obama next give handouts to black bankers? Then black trial lawyers? Then black mortgage executives? For a President who was supposed to unite America, he’s doing his absolute best to continue driving a big giant wedge into the race issue.

Given Obama’s history, he’ll probably give the next handout to racist black professors, like his good friend Henry Louis Gates.

Well, on a day when President Barack Obama has launched his new financial responsibility measure (which means Obama will continue to spend the country into record Federal Deficits, but appoint a gold-ribbon panel to give the appearance that he’s doing something), Andrew Joseph Stack flew his airplane into an IRS building in Austin, Texas. A simple, but effective, sign of protest against the Government's oppressive taxation schemes.

The Government has got to be scared shitless that Americans are fighting back. After 8 years of George Bush’s recklessness, followed by one year of Obama’s arrogance and stupidity, most Americans have had it.

As you might imagine, the Nazi’s at the FBI have ordered a media blackout on this one. Andrew Joseph Stack’s website was yanked down by the FBI who is desperate to spin this story and ensure censorship of Stack’s words, motives and meaning. Thankfully, copies of Joe Stack’s writings have been saved and you can read it. The Government is spinning it as an ignorant, unintelligible rant or a diatribe. It’s anything but. It’s a thoughtful, intelligent criticism of political corruption, abuse of power and how millions of average Americans are getting fucked over on a daily basis by our Government.

However, the lessons of Oklahoma City are clear (and the right wing fails to grasp it), retaliating at Government Buildings only injures low-level Government Workers. And most Americans will develop sympathy for the individual workers. The IRS building in Austin will follow this path. The Government will make the workers out to be heroes.

If you’re going to truly fight back, you can’t clip the finger nails.

Southwest Wages War

Southwest Airlines continues to wage war on its customers.

First, Southwest kicked Kyla Ebbert off for wearing a halter top shirt (that was NOT inappropriate). Southwest never apologized. In fact, Southwest spokeswoman Hollye Chacón never returned any journalists calls. Probably because Ebbert wasn’t famous.

Then, a woman delivered a baby on a Southwest flight from Chicago to Salt Lake City. Southwest was initially going to charge the mom for a second passenger, but opted against it due to protests and negative publicity.

Now, Southwest Airlines has kicked acclaimed film director Kevin Smith off its flight in California for being too fat. Smith is a big guy, but he’s clearly not Michael Moore big. And the flight was not full. Of course, Southwest is in PR damage control mode. They’re saying there’s a been a mistake. NO SHIT. But the only reason why they’re doing damage control is because Kevin Smith is famous and has a platform to strike back. If Smith was a nobody, Southwest would continue to treat him badly.

Here’s a news flash to Southwest – flying your airline sucks. You false advertising about no hidden fees doesn’t fool us (you tried to charge me over $150 to bump up to an earlier flight from Orlando to Philadelphia). Your staff are rude and abrasive. Flying Southwest isn’t fun. It’s miserable and demeaning. Your airline is “welfare air.”

Add to all of this, Southwest Airline’s ongoing maintenance problems. Over the last two years, Southwest has been hit by steep fines by the FAA for committing criminal fraud – including forging maintenance records on its planes. Flying Southwest isn’t only painful and miserable, it’s also extremely dangerous. Flying Southwest is taking your life in your hands.

The Politics of the Special Olympics

The White House has a disability problem. Over the last 10 months, the White House has had three major gaffe’s making fun of individuals with mental disabilities. First, President Barack Obama showed the true content of his character when he used mental retardation for cheap jokes on Jay Leno’s show. Then, White House Press Secretary Gibbs fired off in a White House meeting. Now, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel goes off on the left-wing of the Democratic party as being “fucking retarded.” It seems that “retard” is the default insult for anyone who doesn’t agree with Obama’s Administration. And the Special Olympics organization is more than the willing to look the other way.

The Special Olympics has a huge credibility problem. The organization accepted Obama’s apology within moments of learning about it – even before the segment aired on TV and seeing what Obama actually said. The Special Olympics completely ignored Gibbs statement. Last week, Special Olympics moved quickly to bury Rahm Emanuel’s bigotry, while at the same time launching an offensive against Rush Limbaugh for also using the retard word. It would seem that Special Olympics (founded by the Kennedy family and currently run by Tim Shriver) is playing politics with the R-word.

Of course, I’ve been baffled that Special Olympics organized a huge boycott of the movie Tropic Thunder which belittles people with mental illnesses, yet they seem perfectly happy to tolerate the repeated use of the R-word by President Obama and members of his Administration. Why is the make-believe world of the movies more offensive to the Special Olympics than the real-world bigotry of the President of the United States and his closest advisors?

The Special Olympics organization has a huge credibility problem. By refusing to get serious on the use of the R-word by President Obama and his Administration, they undermine all of their efforts and are making their organization irrelevant. Special Olympics is fast becoming a political organization, not a reputable non-profit focusing on the lives of those with mental disabilities.

And I’m PISSED OFF. Obama isn’t the solution – he’s part of the problem.

The more I listen to Obama, the more he sounds like George Bush. And the more I’ve realized we’ve made a MAJOR mistake. Obama isn’t an improvement – he’s a paint job.

Conan, Leno and the Publicity Stunt

I’ve watched the whole Conan O’Brien vs. Jay Leno slug fest with only passing interest. Frankly, I’ve never been an either an O’Brien or Leno fan and find them barely funny on a good night and rather sad on a bad night. I stopped watching either of them year’s ago.

I don’t care who gets the late-night spot, who get’s relegated to the middle of the night or even who gets cancelled. Frankly, I think this whole thing is a NBC-initiated publicity stunt to pull their shows out of the crapper. Sure, NBC might drive viewers to both Leno and O’Brien in the short term, but in the long term, both shows still suck and I’m not watching.

Last week, Cowboys coach Wade Phillips did something really stupid - he said they would stand by Falk. Last night, Falk was brought it in to clinch the game for the Cowboys...and couldn't didn't deliver. Instead, the Cowboys had to rely on the defense to get it done.

Head of the church and father of many of the kids is Fred Phelps. Don’t ask just how many of the kids he fathered, because that leads down a very slippery slope of unfortunate circumstances.

WBC is a hate group that protests about anything they can think of – school board meetings, concerts, comedy shows, other churches, funerals, sporting events, malls, you name it. All with the same rabid anti-homosexual message. Westboro Baptist Church is the only organization in America that shows more hatred for gay America than the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (a.k.a., the Mormons). Such is the depths of their hatred.

Well, Westboro Baptist Church has taken to protesting Sasha and Malia Obama. This is interesting. Their father, President Barack Obama, shares many of the same values of Westboro Baptist Church – contempt for gays, a desire to ensure that homosexuals do not receive equality in America, and loathing for gay marriage. Fred Phelps and his marry-band of gene-pool limited spawn share the same goals as President Barack Obama. They should partner up to oppress fag America.

But they won’t. Westboro Baptist Church’s real message in protesting the Obama’s is a racist message that they hate Blacks too. But calling the Obama’s a bunch of Niggers would likely result in a pretty severe crack-down of the tax exempt status. Instead, they call the Obama’s the next worse thing in the shared-vision of the world: fag lover. This is some seriously twisted logic.

But it seems to be working. Obama has promised to end Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, but hasn’t. Obama has promised to back a repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act, but hasn’t. Obama has cast out prominent gay employees of the White House. Obama has gone on the record opposing equality and backing Jim Crow laws. Fred Phelps seems to bending Barack Obama over the barrel and Obama seems to be taking it.

It’s a sad state of affairs when gay America would have been better off with Dick Cheney for President than with our first Black President. Obama’s anti-equality agenda has been laid out for all to see. He’ll give lip service, but lack in any action.

The Barack Obama-Fred Phelps partnership is some seriously twisted logic, but it seems to be working.

William Jefferson Sentenced to 13 Years

Carrie Prejean’s skewed view of morality is such that I’m betting she’s not above trading herself and her body for anything. I don’t fault Donald, Carrie Prejean is a nice piece of ass. She’s got nothing between her ears, but she does have a smoking hot body (for the record: I am perhaps the only man in America who has not had the opportunity to partake of Carrie Prejean).

I just love fundamentalist Christians like Carrie Prejean that need to preach hatred and bigotry, while being hypocrites all the way. It’s a shame we’re still talking about Carrie Prejean – her 15 minutes should have been up long ago. She should follow her morals and become a high-priced prostitute. Drop the phony morality ploy. Carrie Prejean doesn’t give a shit about God or Christianity – it’s just her latest play at wealth and celebrity. She knows most Christians are gullible and willing to bite on the line. And she’s selling the Carrie Prejean brand – speaking engagements, books, “companionship,” and whatever else to these gullible Christians.

Let’s not forget the real Carrie Prejean – a woman who was so self-centered that she broke her own commitment to attend a California Special Olympics event. I know Barack Obama dislikes those Special Olympics retards, but I’d expect a self-proclaimed Christian woman like Carrie Prejean to put that faith out there and be good to God’s special children. She didn’t show. I guess she was probably making another sex tape that day.

Finally, one has to wonder if evangelical Christian PR firm A. Larry Ross Communications is standing by Carrie Prejean. I’ve speculated in the past that she’s working a barter deal with Arthur Ross (the real name of A. Larry Ross). Of course, A. Larry Ross’ work with pedophile ministers means that a deviant like Carrie Prejean fits right in. Just as we know about Carrie Prejean’s morality, so too do we know about Arthur Larry Ross. But what about those who work for Ross? What about Melany Ethridge and Kristin Cole? These are the women who have helped Prejean in her immorality schemes. Are Melany Ethridge and Kristin Cole also making sex tapes?

Prejean’s unwillingness to acknowledge her past bad behaviors, her continued lying, her selfishness and her narcissism are all completely incompatible with TRUE Christianity. I know – hate the sin, embrace the sinner. But what happens with the sinner won’t embrace the love of God? That’s Carrie Prejean – self-centered and full of hate. Let’s drop the charade – Carrie Prejean might profess a love of Christ, but she has not embraced Christ and Christianity. All of this is nothing more than a brilliant marketing ploy for Carrie Prejean.

Fort Hood Masacre

An American Muslim committed jihad at Fort Hood in Texas today, leaving over a dozen dead and several dozen critically wounded. The perpetrator is identified as Major Nidal Malik Hasan, an American Army psychiatrist. Hasan’s parents are originally from Jordan and his cousin has said that Hasan is a wonderful pious Muslim. His act of jihad is representative of his Islamic faith.

Naturally, the terrorist sympathizers at the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) issued a statement condemning this specific act of violence. This is standard operation procedure for CAIR whenever there’s a terrorist act – they condemn this specific act of violence, yet refuse to universally denounce ALL violence and terrorism. The Council on American-Islamic Relations is a despicable organization that defends terrorism. Rather than universally rejecting terrorism, they issue statements to try and make it appear that the reject extremism, statements like: “We condemn this cowardly attack in the strongest terms possible...”

I’m getting sick and tired of Ibrahim Hooper and his fellow terrorist sympathizers at CAIR. We’ve tried complacency and tolerance. We’ve tried working with Islam. We’ve tried peace. Islam has rejected peace. Islam has rejected tolerance.

Election Day 2009 is in the book and one thing is becoming crystal clear - Barack Obama's coattails aren't what they once were.

Bill Clinton noted that this year's election is a referendum of President Barack Obama's leadership. And by that yardstick, Obama is in a world of hurt. CNN exit polls put opposition to most of President Obama's most important policy issues at double digits. The overwhelming majority of Americans oppose Obama's ram-it-down-our-throats approach to healthcare reform. The majority of Americans are seriously disappointed in our Nobel Peace Prize winning President's lack of ability to find a solution to any of the major international affairs issues - Iraq, Afghanistan, North Korea, Iran, Honduras, and the Muslim/Israeli conflict.

And independent voters like me took to the polls. We want change. And we want a centrist government. Period. The Republicans are anything but centrist. However, the Democratic Party's super-majority across all houses of government poses a very concerning position for us. We don't want Republicans in power. They managed to fuck everything up for the last 8 years. But Barack Obama's radical leftism is equally concerning. Our choice is between radical Christian fundamentalism and radical economy-crushing liberal fanaticism. We reject both. We want a centrist government.

And since we can't vote in moderates, the next best thing is to split the parties - 50-50. No party gets a super majority of all government branches. No party as excessive power - and the abuses and corruption of that power. And that's what we're doing. The Independents are taking the power back and splitting the parties.

Barack Obama's weekly campaign appearances to help his billionaire friend and Wall Street insider Jon Corzine were totally futile. Corzine's unwillingness to address the massive and severe corruption in the Democratic Party is an embarrassment. And so we gave the job to someone else. It really didn't matter if it was Chris "Fatso" Christie or Malcolm XI - anyone would do. Ditto for Virginia.

Wake up Obama. This is the first taste of some rather nasty defeats America is going to hand you in 2010. There's one way to save your sorry butt - get moderate, get in the middle, start reaching out to others, stop being so F'in arrogant, wipe the smirk off your face, learn to be humble and grow up. I realize it's a tall order for you, but it will be the only way to save your party.

Election Tuesday is going to be fascinating across the nation. In his first 9 months in office, Obama has spent over 10% of his time campaigning for Democratic candidates – most notably Billionaire former-Wall Street insider and current NJ Governor Jon Corzine. Corzine is a man who has led the Democratic party in NJ to unprecedented levels of political corruption (and FBI investigations) after having helped orchestrate a build up to the nation’s Wall Street collapse. Get one thing straight: Jon Corzine is a toxic asset. I don’t care who runs against him – Republican, Democrat, Independent or Green – New Jersey will be better off without Corzine.

However, this election (along with the one in Virginia that Obama and the Democrats are destined to lose) is an early harbinger of how America is feeling about our President. We love having a black President. President Obama is wildly popular. He doesn’t sound ignorant like President Bush. Yet, most Americans don’t like Obama’s policies. Most Americans would prefer a moderate...neither a right-wing fascist in the fashion of George Bush or a left-wing egotistical maniac in the form of Barack Obama.

One thing will be clear after November 3 – Obama will claim victory, he has to. However, look for the White House to begin moderating it’s fanatical positions in an attempt to bring moderates back into the fold. It’s too late for that. Folks like me who were Clinton Democrats – Moderates – who grudgingly supported Obama will either stay home or vote for someone else. I’m done with Obama.

Dan Rather Loses; No Surprises

A New York appeals court has ruled against Dan Rather in his bid to extract $70 million from his former employer, CBS.

Let’s recap the history here. Dan Rather is a long-time Democrat. In 2004, Dan Rather concocted a story on President George Bush’s military record. Rather was hoping to influence the 2004 Presidential election in Senator John Kerry’s favor. Concerns by internal CBS staffers were ignored and Dan Rather pressed on with his personal, political ambitions. Instead, he ended up losing his job.

It’s a shame that the once-great Dan Rather needed to throw his career away. Journalistic integrity was abandoned in favor of partisan politics. As he was unable to maintain journalistic objectivity, CBS removed him from his anchor spot, instead he was doing some spots on the “60 Minutes” show. Rather’s joining the “60 Minutes” staff coincided with a major tanking in the show’s ratings. Rather sued for breach of contract. I think CBS should counter-sue Rather for breach of contract since Rather lost his objectivity and destroyed the trust that viewers had in the CBS network.

It’s a mess, but Dan Rather created it.

TLC Dumps Jon Gosselin

SS Squads Investigate Prank

Over the weekend, someone posted a prank on Facebook asking whether President Barack Obama should be assassinated. Obviously, someone is interested in criticizing the President. Yet the SS Death Squads are taking this as a serious threat to the President. This is about as serious a threat to President Obama as when President Bush was threatened to be assassinated by a black 8-year old in a hip hop video (a video that was backed by ACORN and probably funded by President Obama – oh the irony). The Secret Service didn’t take that threat seriously, yet they investigate a Facebook poll? Is the Secret Service playing politics? It sure looks that way.

Don’t get me wrong – President Obama is a real target. Sure, there are the right-wing freaks that would love to get their paws on him. Then there's the ultra-liberal left-wingers that would welcome the chance to assassinate the President and then blame it one someone else: conservatives, Israel, Fox News, etc.

But, here’s the real problem, the Secret Service itself – an armed military commanded by the President of the United States to conduct attacks on U.S. citizens on U.S. soil. This is how it started off under Adolf Hitler.

ACORN Files Lawsuit

They’re firing a lawsuit against the two independent film makers (James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles) who caught ACORN employees committing criminal acts (a la Michael Moore style). I’m disappointed, but can’t really say I’m surprised by this latest move from Obama’s ACORN friends.

Rather than taking the high-road (admitting to some rogue employees, rooting out the illegal elements in its midst, reforming and making amends for its wrongdoings), ACORN continues back on its previous path of corruption and defending its illegal actions. These people are totally despicable. Michelle Obama’s close friend and ACORN chief executive Bertha Lewis needs to be held accountable for her criminal actions.

The ACORN Scandal

Well, it seems that the corruption at ACORN has become so blatant that the Obamas and their friends can no longer sweep it under the carpet. Just last year, then-candidate Barack Obama weighed in on ACORN and defended the organization from accusations of the right-wing fringe neo-conservatives.

The problems with ACORN range from Nevada to New Jersey and everywhere in between. From helping people commit felony mortgage fraud to rampant voter-registration fraud. ACORN just might be the most corrupt non-profit in the United States of America.

But let’s not forget the Obama’s close personal involvement. As an attorney, Barack Obama helped defend the corrup organization. And Michelle Obama’s law-firm continues to represent them in their criminal activities, although the First Lady claims to have no involvement with the organization.

I’m happy to hear that Barack Obama has finally called on the Federal Government to investigate the corrupt organization. If ACORN chief executive Bertha Lewis doesn’t do serious prison time, there should be riots in the streets. Hopefully, when the Federal Government does investigate ACORN, I hope they also probe the close personal relationship between ACORN and the Obamas.

Obama’s Rant on Media

President Barack Obama spent the morning on the Sunday talk shows ranting about reckless media coverage. He was specifically talking about news networks coverage of the “race card.” What President Obama seems to forget is that it was his own friends and associates that played the race card to begin with. I’m not seeing President Obama calling former President Jimmy Carter reckless and irresponsible – only the media coverage of Carter’s comments (perhaps if Carter was a Republican he might have incurred the wrath of the Great Obama. If President Obama wants America to take him seriously, he needs to stop his one-sided attacks.

Of course, President Obama conveniently seems to forget that he fired the shot in the “media war.” Back as candidate Obama, the Great Barack Obama orchestrated the kidnapping of his media entourage to get them out of the way so he could conspire with Hillary Clinton. No open dialogue with the American voters, instead it was cloak and dagger diplomacy in a smoke-filled room without any consideration for Democracy. The journalist kidnapping has quieted down in public discussion, but some journalists aboard that ill-fated flight are still fuming mad. And right they should be.

Finally, when it comes to racial issues, let’s not forget that Obama was the first one to make race an issue. Where no race issue existed, he made one. What was one jackass behaving badly to the Cambridge Police Department became a major racial issue when Obama made it that way. President Barack Obama stuck his nose into something that President of the United States of America has no business in. Obama caused the problem.

Yet still, Obama spent the morning calling his opponents rude. If anyone disagrees with the Great Obama, they are labeled rude or racist. That’s what it comes down to. We spent eight years under the terrible leadership of George Bush in which Democrats acted uncivil and rude – protesting, yelling and disrupting Democracy. Now that the Democrats are in power, the Republicans are using their own tactics against them. And Barack Obama is caving under the pressure. He seems like some immature little runt that needs to gripe and complain when he doesn’t get his way. He looks totally childish.

I guess that what this all comes down to. President Obama is in over his head and he’s struggling to convince the American people (people of BOTH parties) of his ideas. So Obama enlists his friends to roll out the race card. Then Obama comes in and says race isn’t the issue and tries to take a middle of the road approach. It’s a discursive technique that’s taught in every college-level debate class in the country (Obama probably picked it up at Harvard). It’s a savvy move to silence his opponents. But he’s still not convincing the American people of his ideas.

The new GM ad campaign features a money back guarantee on Chevy, Buick, GMC and Cadillac. Cool. But why in the world would I consider buying a GM car in the first place? The company is on the verge of bankruptcy (again) and the guarantee isn’t really worth the paper it’s written on.

Let the poor and the ignorant flock to “the NEW GENERAL MOTORS.” I'll stick with the safe bets - Toyota, Honda and Lexus.

The right-wing conservatives are all abother about President Barack Obama's television address to school students. They are threatening to pull their kids out for the day and are screaming in protest.

Naturally, the neo-cons have the right idea, but for all the wrong reasons. Boycotting Obama's informercial is the right call. Politics has no place in schools. Frankly, Obama's communications team bungled this one (again). It's amazing what we learn about the Obama administration when they really speak their minds.

The real reason we should be boycotting Obama's speach is because it takes away from valuable learning time. Obama hasn't said anything of consequence since he got elected, I'm not expecting him to start next week.

We know Obama dosn't really value education. How elese can you explain his pulling his daughters out of school for photo ops last year during the campaign? His dughters would have been better served in class instead of being prostituted for votes. Parents would be better served pulling their kids out of school for the day and teaching them something meaningful, rather than letting them sit around and waste their time listening to Obama.

The real reason to boycot Obama's address is because it is a waste of time and resources, not ideology.

President Barack Obama is back from his $100,000+ luxury vacation to Martha’s Vineyard. This taxpayer is still pissed the President decided to flaunt a luxury vacation while millions of Americans are still struggling financially. Such is the ethics of President Obama.

But it’s good to have His Holiness back in Washington. Now, he can get back to his most important job – fundraising for his billionaire friend Jon Corzine and trying to save his job. Corzine has been leading the great State of New Jersey to its #1 spot in government corruption – 43 members of the Democratic party, including close Corzine aides, have been indicted for corruption, money laundering, drugs, and the trafficking of human organs.

Jon Corzine’s struggling and all of his billions of dollars can’t save his campaign, so he needs Barack Obama to fundraise – a role Obama has been greedy to play. So it’s back to work for Barack Obama.

Anti-Death Penalty Movement

I was cleaning out some stuff and I found the business card from this woman I met on a flight earlier this year. Her name was Corinne and she works at an anti-death penalty group in DC. I was stunned by our conversation.

I believe in the death penalty, but I understand the intellectual arguments of death penalty opponents (cost, state-sponsored murder, etc.). But death penalty opponents like to call their work “innocence” work. I’ve never seen anyone exonerated from death row that was innocent. They may have been not guilty of that particular crime, but they are NOT innocent. There’s a difference between innocent and not guilty – let’s not confuse the two.

But what struck me about my conversation with this death penalty opponent was not just her opposition to the death penalty, but her opposition to any punishment at all. If someone commits murder, the death penalty is not appropriate; however, they also shouldn’t serve any lengthy prison time. Up until my conversation with Corinne of the Death Penalty Information Center, I was under the impression that death penalty opponents didn’t believe in the death penalty, but they did believe in punishment for the crimes people commit.

A bit of shocker for me when I learned the true objectives of anti-death penalty advocates.

Obama Praises a Murderer

They’re a Close Family

OK, let me absolutely upfront. I do NOT think that Barack Obama is a pedophile. Despite his rather significant shortcomings as President of the United States, I don’t think he molests his daughters.

However, today’s AP story about The Obama Family vacation contained a rather concerning detail about First Family intimacy. Evidently, President Obama enjoys having his school-aged daughters sit on his lap (not his knee...but on his lap). There’s a father-daughter bond and then there’s a father-daughter bond. I guess they’re just a close family, but it’s still strange. Again, I don’t believe Barack Obama is a pedophile.

In general, the mommy blog set and parenting magazines believe that young girls shouldn’t sit on their father’s laps after the child has started school (so about age 6). In the past, I’ve worked in advertising and you can’t get stock photo imagery of a child older than about 5 or 6 sitting on a man’s lap because people automatically think there’s something sexually inappropriate going on.

I think it’s interesting that the Associated Press won’t publish the photo they took of Sasha Obama sitting on her father’s lap. I guess the AP is too scarred of what people’s reactions will be to this graphic image (or else the White House is too concerned about the possible ramifications).

I just think that President Obama loves, really loves, his daughters. I guess they are just a close family, but the rest of us are finding this pretty strange.

The Senate Killer Dies

All the politicians are coming out to praise the wonderful Senator Edward M Kennedy. Let's face it Ted Kennedy was a scumbag. Let the real truth of Ted Kennedy's legacy be told.

For me, Ted Kennedy will always be the man that murdered Mary Jo Kopechne at Chappaquiddick. Did he also rape her? Tough to tell, but the evidence of assault was present, so somebody did. Interesting that one can commit murder when you are a Kennedy and get nothing more than probation.

Kennedy claimed to have been reformed from his old ways. But in 1991 he went to a nightclub with his nephew William Kennedy Smith to rape some bitch. Smith was acquitted and Ted Kennedy was never charged for his role in the rape.

All the positive work in Congress was just a smokescreen for a deeply evil man that abused women and craved power. Ted Kennedy was evil.

Ted Kennedy's legacy is that of a muderer who got elected. Nothing more. Nothing less. May he rot in hell.

Conrad Murray Needs a New Job

I’d like to suggest that Dr. Conrad Murray, one of the nation’s leading African-American physicians, take over as the official White House physician for President Barack Obama – the first African-American President in U.S. history.

Of course, there is the downside of Dr. Conrad Murray killing his last patient, but I’m sure that was just a fluke. I honestly believe that America could use more diversity and the nation’s most prominent black leader could really benefit from the services of one of the nation’s leading black physicians.

I definitely think President Obama should hire Dr. Conrad Murray.

Bing & Decide

Like everyone else in America, I’ve been bashed over the head by the Bing! advertising campaign. Bing is the Microsoft response to Google. And Bing blows.

Bing positions itself as a decision engine. And it really is! You forces you to make more decisions than any human being would need to make to find the answers they need.

Case in point – on MSN, you type something in, and then you get diverted to a Bing landing page with many more choices. Instead of a one-step process with Google, you need to click and click and decide and decide with Bing.

With Google, you get presented with a huge long list of links, with the most important and most relevant information presented first. Here’s an example from my personal life. If I type my name into Google, it pulls up a current listing from LinkedIn and a recent article in The Wall Street Journal about me (from 3 weeks ago). I type my name into Bing it pulls up a website posting about me from 11 years ago that isn’t even relevant anymore.

Bing sucks!

Obama Takes Vacation; Unemployment Increases

Nationwide, unemployment continues to be a major problem. Unemployment continues to increase in 26 of the 50 States (most other States are holding flat; only a few are improving). Nationwide, 1 in 10 American workers are out of work. Among recently college graduates (those graduating in may), that figure is 60%. During this recession, more than 86% of Americans have suffered decreased livelihoods (scaled back hours, home foreclosure, an unemployed spouse, etc.).

So forgive me for sounding a little harsh on the Great and Magnificent Obama for taking a bunch of time of go with the kids to Martha’s Vineyard. The Obama’s will be staying on a sprawling $20 million estate with their every whim catered to (just like it is at the White House). Insiders to the Martha’s Vineyard real-estate scene believe that the Obama’s are spending $35,000-$50,000 on the property alone, not to mention transportation, food, SS protection, etc (Note: the average American male makes $45,113 a year; while the average American woman makes $35,102). Private estimates of the Obama vacation come in at $140,000. And I’m sure that President Obama thinks he deserves something even more lavish (since he only has to pay for one-third of it; taxpayers pick up the rest of the tab).

With millions in America out of work, struggling to put food on the table, desperately trying to remain in their homes and seeing their standards of living getting pulled down around them, it’s insulting that President Obama would take such an expensive vacation and flaunt it in Americans faces. While the rest of America has been forced to make due with Staycations, Obama lives up the good life.

It’s insulting.

Robin Givhan Misses the Mark

Robin Givhan has an article on the Michelle Obama’s “lapse in judgment” (as we are now calling it). As we all know, the First Family took a vacation to the Grand Canyon (while President Obama was actually supposed to be working on the problems of the country). During this vacation, Michelle Obama descended Air Force One for the official photo op in a pair of shorts that would be better fitting on a local skank at the mall and a top that seems to show nipple protrusion.

The right-wing Christian freaks have seized on the moment. And now, fashion goddess Robin Givhan has weighed in on a stunning example of lack of judgment on the part of the First Lady. As Givhan has noted in her column: “Ultimately, the first lady can't be -- nor should she be -- just like everyone else. Hers is a life of responsibilities and privileges. She gets the fancy jet. She has to dress for the ride.”

This is where Robin Givhan misses the mark. Michelle Obama WAS dressed for the ride – a ride of a different kind. Let’s face it, the First Lady is a MILF – and she dresses like it. Michelle Obama is a different kind of First Lady.

It’s not like we can see the First Snatch hanging out the bottom of her too-short shorts. But I don’t think Michelle Obama should cave to all this criticism. I think she should continue down the path she’s going – reveal more (shorter shorts, more revealing tops, tighter clothes)! If Michelle wants to bare all, I think she should. This is 2009, not 1909.

Michelle Obama’s choices don’t reflect a lack of judgment, they reflect her values. Values which are decidedly less traditional and befitting a woman half her age. These values would seem more appropriate at the local bar looking to find some guy to fuck for the night rather than the White House, but they are Michelle Obama’s values. We need to respect the values and the culture. We elected President Obama for a change. If Michelle Obama wants to make a porno in the Oval Office with her husband, I’m all for it (America was a lot better off when Bill Clinton was getting regular blowjobs from all the White House visitors).

The real shame is that Michelle Obama is turning into a first-rate distraction and is keeping her husband from actually doing his job. Instead of trying to help America out of a recession, instead of helping millions of Americans get health insurance and instead of working on the environmental mess he inherited from George Bush, President Barack Obama is on vacation AGAIN, hanging out in places like the Grand Canyon and Martha’s Vineyard with his scantily-clad wife. I guess we got a change – we swapped one lazy President for another. But this time, the First Lady has a much hotter body.

An Apology

I need to apologize to Liskula Cohen for my late-night missive last night. I was wrong. I was terribly wrong. The story of Liskula Cohen really isn’t about money, as I asserted.

It’s really about relevance. The facts are the same. Liskula Cohen, an over-the-hill has-been model, sued Google to reveal the name of the blogger who was posting comments on a blog about her (a blog that almost nobody reads). This was the tree falling in the forest...until Liskula Cohen decided to sue. And it wasn’t about money.

It was a last ditch attempt for fame from the almost 38-year-old former model. She needed to do something sensational. This lawsuit was it. I’d argue it’s not the first super-sensational activity she’s engaged in.

If you can’t stand the heat, get out of public life. Cohen couldn’t stand the heat, but decided to fight back. And I kind of feel sorry for her. She was once successful and relevant and important. Now she looks like some bitter woman struggling to hold on to who she once was. How sad. Somehow, I think there’s a reality TV show in her future.

Mo’Bama Bikini Watch

Liskula Cohen, an over-the-hill model, has successful forced Google to cough up the name of the anonymous blogger who posted unauthorized comments and photos about her. This is really about money and who controls the money.

Liskula Cohen seems to be a little drama princess. In 2007, she claims she was stabbed in the face by some obsessed fan. Her modeling career appears to have been in a major decline up to that point. Since Liskula Cohen is in the habit of suing anyone who writes about her, I'll make my position clear. I think her stabbing sob story sounds really fishy. Unions Kill

Eunice Kennedy Shriver

The world was saddened to learn of the passing of Eunice Kennedy Shriver today. She was a woman whose efforts on behalf of children with physical and mental disabilities will not be forgotten. By founding Special Olympics, she has created a lasting institution.

President Barack Obama should have honored her with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Instead, he's giving it to her brother - the murdering drunk Ted Kennedy (such is Obama's priorities). It's a shame really, after such insulting comments about the mentally challenged, this could have been a real chance for leadership under President Obama - another opportunity for
real leadership squandered.

No doubt her funeral will turn into some kind of circus with all the beautiful people showing up. No doubt will have to so something - he can't let a good photo op go by. No doubt her funeral will look something like Barack Obama's bowling and leadership - a bunch of retards hanging around.

Eunice Kennedy Shriver is a great woman. It's a shame her legacy, The Special Olympics, needs to be tarnished by a President acting stupidly looking for cheap laughs.

I guess rolling around in the gutter and making fun of retards is the change Obama promised us.
